	Cosen Machinery Industrial Co., Ltd is founded in Hsinchu, Taiwan as a parts-making machine tool company.

	Cosen develops the first manual bandsaw, MHV-180AE and MHV-230E, and sets out onto its journey to become one of the largest professional band saw manufacturers and exporters today.

	Production of automatic bandsaw begins. Cosen engineers the first automatic roller feeding bandsaw, AH-250C.

	The best selling manual bandsaw, MH-916JA and MH-1016JAM, are introduced and soon their popularity around the globe proves their built-in element of industrial duty productivity.

	Construction of Cosen’s automatic hydraulic feeding bandsaw series begins. AH-250, AH-300H, AH-400H, AH-460H, and AH-2028H, which have accompanied Cosen until today, begin to take over the main product line and expand Cosen’s expertise into medium to large capacity bandsaws.

	Cosen builds the first numerical control bandsaw to satisfy users’ needs in saving operation time.

	Billet saws of capacity from 1000mm to 1700mm are engineered and manufactured. The billet saw series joins Cosen’s product lines.

	NC-99 bandsaws featuring 99 sets of programmable cutting requirements are introduced to cover users’ mass production needs.

	Cosen achieves CE Designation, a European safety standard. Engineering and production of plate saw series takes place. Cosen introduces four plate saw models: SV-3660, SV-60100, SV-80130, and SV-130160 for long and large section cutting needs.

	Cosen attains ISO-9001, a worldwide standard for the quality system of the design, development, production, service and repair of machine tools. Cosen accomplishes EMC, an industrial standard of compatibility of magnetic and electrical devices.
